Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, embarks on a dangerous pursuit of truth and justice while he contends with the grief from the death of his father and the subsequent marriage of his mother to his uncle. Hamlet struggles to deal with his grief and ultimately isolates himself from those who try to help him.
The Jester Collective Experience is that perfect blend between the professional world of theatre and exemplary classical training from Mark Prince. I would encourage anyone, no matter what stage they are in their career to take the opportunity to be part of a truly collaborative ensemble where everyone gets to shine and showcase their abilities. Performing in Jester Collective's Showcase Production of Lear was certainly a worthwhile experience. Our Director, Mark, brought out the best in everyone, ensuring we all understood the nuances of characters, while simultaneously keeping the rehearsal space fun, creative, humorous and playful. There was a real buzz from the audience after the performances, and that is a testament to the care and attention Mark gives to his actors. I would recommend Jester Collective to any actor who's serious about their craft.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Jester Collective is led by Artistic Director Mark Prince.
Mark trained as a member of the Acting Company and Young Company at the world-renowned Stratford Festival of Canada, studying under some of the industry's leading coaches in acting, text, voice, and movement.
As a performer, he has appeared at the Stratford Festival, toured with The Reduced Shakespeare Company, and played at Southwark Playhouse, Greenwich Theatre, and Theatre Royal Stratford East. His international work with TNT Theatre has taken him to dozens of countries worldwide.
A passionate advocate for the transformative power of theatre, Mark brings a combination of rigorous training, broad performance experience, and a deep commitment to inclusive storytelling to everything Jester Collective creates.
